Billy’s Lifeline Attends the Mayor’s Annual Civic Ball

We were delighted to be invited as special guests of Councillor Tracey Dixon to the Mayor’s Annual Civic Ball, a highlight in South Tyneside’s civic calendar and a cherished celebration of community spirit.

The Civic Ball is held each year to bring our borough together, celebrate local pride, and raise vital funds for charities and community groups making a difference across South Tyneside. It’s an evening that shines a light on the organisations, volunteers, and residents who work tirelessly to support others.

This year’s event was no exception; the Ball created space for connection, celebration, and collective purpose. We were honoured to stand alongside so many dedicated individuals and organisations who share a commitment to supporting those who need it most.

Being part of this event means a great deal to us. Every pound raised helps strengthen the safety net of support available in our community, something we know is truly life‑changing for those affected by suicide loss.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Councillor Dixon for the invitation and to everyone who contributed to such a meaningful evening. Together, we continue building a more compassionate, connected South Tyneside.
