Celebrating the Incredible Support of Our Local Community
We are continually humbled by the kindness, generosity, and solidarity shown by people and organisations across our community. Their support not only strengthens our work but also reminds us that compassion truly thrives here in South Tyneside and beyond.
Over the summer and autumn, several individuals and groups have gone above and beyond to help us raise awareness and vital funds for those affected by suicide. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to:
Barbara from South Tyneside Pledge – for organising a welcoming coffee morning that brought Pledge members together to learn more about our charity and the support we offer to those in need.
Eunice and Jim from One For All; a fabulous community drop in service supporting local homeless, isolated, struggling individuals with a safe space – for donating beautiful gifts for our raffle, helping us raise funds while bringing joy to our community.
June, Manager at Nando’s Trinity Gateshead – for championing our cause in her restaurant and raising money to support our work.
Ford Aerospace and Hitachi – for hosting a charity football match and raising an incredible amount to help us continue supporting bereaved families.
Lynette and Kathleen – for completing the Walk of Hope 2025 and fundraising with such dedication and heart.
Lynn from The People’s Angels CIC for donating some wonderful items for our support groups
Kath from The Steamboat and Barry the Quizmaster – for hosting a Halloween themed fundraiser quiz night for the team and our families, friends and clients
Every act of support—big or small—helps us reach more people, offer more care, and build a community where no one has to face loss alone. We are sorry if we haven’t mentioned you this time, but we see you and we are deeply grateful to each and every one of you
If you or your organisation would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. Together, we can continue making a meaningful difference.
